Bleu has lived across the US, but finds home in Austin, TX. They studied geology and evolutionary biology in college before dropping out to pursue their lifelong love of art as a tattoo artist. Outside of tattooing, they mainly work with digital art, watercolor, & graphite. Finding beauty in the eerie, they are inspired by nature, magic, spirituality, surrealism, and dark imagery. Bleu chooses to utilize strong, directional lighting in their exploration of duality. They emphasize shadow as a representation of the darker aspects of the self, and the world, one must integrate to learn how to live in the light.
