Juniper Press is an online art marketplace dedicated to uplifting transgender and non-binary artists worldwide. Our mission is to create an inclusive, equitable platform where artists are celebrated, fairly paid, and fully supported.

Eligibility Requirements

To apply, artists must: 

  • Self-identify as transgender, non-binary, or otherwise not cisgender
  • Be 18 years of age or older
  • Submit 5–10 pieces of original artwork

All submissions must be your own original work. We accept artists worldwide.

Artwork Submission Guidelines (For Application)

We accept artwork and photography in a wide range of formats for the purpose of reviewing your style, originality, and creative voice. Your work does not need to meet our final print resolution requirements at this stage in order to apply.

The artwork that you submit should be easy to imagine as a print or canvas, so please refrain from submitting 3D work such as sculpture or products such as stickers or clothing.

Print Production Requirements (After Acceptance)

If selected, final artwork intended for large-format print must meet the following technical standards:

  • Resolution: 300 DPI
  • Minimum Size: 5400 × 7200 px (supports 18 × 24 inch prints)
  • Preferred Size: 7200 × 10800 px (supports 24 × 36 inch prints)
  • Color Mode: RGB
  • Accepted File Types: PNG, TIFF, PSD, or high-quality JPG Files
  • Artwork must be original, uncompressed, and not AI-upscaled

Not all accepted artists will have every piece eligible for large-format printing, and that’s completely okay. We also offer smaller print formats.

Artist Promotion Requirement

Selected artists agree to support the launch of their Juniper Press collection by completing: 

  • One (1) dedicated Instagram feed post
  • Two (2) Instagram story slides with a direct link to the Juniper Press store

Promotion helps ensure mutual success and visibility for both the artist and the platform.

Exclusivity Agreement

For a period of 12 months, artists agree not to sell or license the specific pieces submitted to Juniper Press through any other platform or sales channel.

Artists retain full ownership of their work outside of this limited exclusivity window.

Application Timeline

We review applications on a rolling basis and currently accept approximately 4 artists per month. Due to high interest, response times may be several months. We deeply appreciate your patience and every submission is reviewed with care.
